Hurricane Heats are 4 hours long. Hurricane Heat 12 Hours are just that, 12 hours long.Still a fairly new venue for Spartan, this course includes rugged terrain that will challenge you, no matter your fitness level. Just about 1 hour outside Dallas Ft. Worth area and just 30 minutes to the historic center of Granbury, this race destination promises packed action and southern hospitality.
Hit things like pullups, rock-climbing, jump-squats, and burpeeslots and lots of burpees. First time Spartan expect to do at least 120 over the length of the course. Also, leave yourself more time than you'd think. If you can consistently do a 5 mi run at a 10 min/mi pace, you can probably do a Sprint in 2 hours or so.
